These Terms govern your use of Yours in Song. By submitting a song request, listening to a preview, or unlocking a complete song, you agree to them.
1. The service
Yours in Song turns the details you share through our guided questionnaire into a custom song. You may listen to a preview of up to 90 seconds. A confirmed one-time purchase unlocks access to the complete song.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you submit names, stories, messages, photos, or other material involving others, you confirm that you have permission to use it for your song request.
3. Your submissions
You keep your rights in the material you submit. You grant Yours in Song a limited permission to process, store, adapt, and use that material only as needed to create and deliver your song, provide support, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
Do not submit material that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, harassing, exploitative, deceptive, or that infringes privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
4. Song-link access
The song identifier in your private link is the access credential. Anyone who knows the identifier or receives the link can open the song page and, after payment, play the complete song. Keep the link private and share it only with people you trust. The interface supports playback only and does not provide a song-file download or public-sharing function.
5. Purchases and billing
Unlocking a complete song is a one-time purchase of digital content, not a subscription. The price and included access are shown before checkout. The checkout page handles payment credentials; Yours in Song receives only the information needed to confirm and support the order. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Creative variation
A custom song reflects the questionnaire details and creative direction you provide, but exact wording, pacing, instrumentation, mood, or resemblance to a reference cannot be guaranteed. The preview is your opportunity to evaluate the song before unlocking it.
7. Permitted use
Unless a different license is displayed at checkout, a confirmed purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to play the complete song for non-commercial purposes through its private song link. This right does not include access to a downloadable song file or a public-sharing feature. You may not resell the song, present it as a separate stock asset, remove access controls, interfere with the site, or use the service for unlawful activity.
8. Platform materials
Yours in Song and its site design, branding, software, and general materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials.
9. Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We may also revise these Terms. Material changes take effect when posted with an updated date, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Yours in Song is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability arising from a song order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
